gong xi fa cai

Another year again.... But it was a very memorable year for me. Lifechanging experiences, raning from working in China, to negotiations with the middle-age wealthy white males and learning so much about life.

Gung Hei Fat Choy indeed, everyone! Wish you all the best for the new year.

Like Eddy, I have done a LOT of growing up/learning as well, particularly the 2nd half of the year -- it couldn't be better! Keep it up, guys :)

A "d?fil?" is a march where well it's difficult for me to explain, we talked about it last year Mikey when you showed me the pictures of an american "d?fil?" where there were some singers (elva or jolin ? i can't remember).

There are several trucks decorated and carrying people disguised in deities, animals like monkeys (last year), wearing traditional clothes from several regions in China. People are marching in the streets of chinatown in Paris playing music (traditional chinese new year music with drums and "cuivres" - cymbals and so on), there is a lion dance, dragons, fireworks, some karate or kung fu demonstration and so on...

When I was a teenager, i used to attend a chinese course (mandarin) at an association where ppl organised the "d?fil?" for chinese new year, they prepared it and trained a lot !

I'm sorry if it is a little bit confused as my english is getting poorer and poorer lolol

Eddy > yup it happened last year, didn't it ? It was terrible !
