Winter's finally here! We had a mixture of ice and freezing rain in the morning! Woohoo!!! It's an 'adventure' getting into work when we get freezing rain...As long as you're careful! I normally do 80 to 120 km/hour getting to work in the morning...The max I went this morn was 60 km/hour.

Of course this is nothing compared to the weird weather pattern we had in August of 2005 when we had flooding in the Toronto area which was VERY unusual. I actually drove my car through an intersection which was like a river!

Yea, yesterday I looked out the window and all the cars had white roof tops. Good thing I had a bottled water with me. It took all but 2 minutes to defrost. :) Crazy though...My thermostat showed that my area was in the 30 degrees ferenheit. That's not normal.... :P

In Paris we had a weird winter it was really "warm" for the period, two days ago it was 13°C and today it is minus 3 and end of this week it will be minus 9 !!!

Crazy weather...

It's the coldest today so far this winter in the Greater Toronto Area at -15 Celsius and I'm luvin' it. Snuggling in bed at night with a sigh of relief that I'm not sweatin' buckets like I am during July or August...I hate the heat and humidity! This is my time and I'm enjoying it while it lasts! I heard that in certain parts of the prairie provinces such as Saskatchewan, the temperatures dropped to a frigid -30 Celsius or so last week!

Yesterday was blowing winds...Snow...Wet snow...Ice...Black ice..Slush...And I was having fun in the Civic. They say to stay home today but I made it into work at my standard time. People are staying home so the traffic is lighter. And where there is traffic, people are avoiding the quicker left lane because of the build-up of slush and stuff. That is where I go...Overpassing everyone else, especially the SUVs...See ya...Dun wanna be ya!!! I'm just having a blast...This is the life! :D

These couple of days, we've got huge chunks of ice falling from our CN Tower. A major portion of the Gardiner Expressway has been closed off for the past 24 hours just as a safety precaution.

Thanks for the comment Mikey...Just a better side of me!!! Of course that was from 35 years ago!!! ^_^

My girlfriend took shots with her cellphone cam of what happened near her street on Thursday March 1st...Downed power lines which affected a lot of intersection lights (Resulting in 4-way stops) and power outtages. Luckily we had power within our homes and at my work. However at her bakery, the power was out, so her hours were cut big time during the days after the storm 'coz they couldn't do much with gas power...

wow reminded me of the black out of 2002 in NYC

my parent's restaurant had to close early and the ice-cream shop next door bought out 75% discount signs since their ice-cream are all gonna be melted anyways. it was sooooo funny.

It's my second winter not being upstate in 4 years....i kinda miss the relaxed college atmosphere....and the White Out conditions.

Here in California, it's way too hot. It's like summer right now and we are even having major fires at this moment. Odd. I wish there were more snow still hahaha.
