Is this the end of the immature Twins and the beginning of the grown-up Twins? "Touch of Love" is quite different from the Twins' previous albums. Gone are the teenage pop songs (well, almost gone), and replaced by songs like track 2 "I want to sleep" and track 4 "Thousands of gold".
The first plug song in this album is track 8 "Next stop....diva", the theme song of the same titled movie. Personally I thought Charlene's solo version was better than the duet version. Track 2 "We need to sleep" is a different type of up tempo song that Twin's have not tried before, and Twin's vocal in track 4 "Thousands of gold" was also different from what we've been used to. Having said that, there are still songs that you've come to expect from Twins, like track 9 "Boy scout".
Track 10 "What world is this?" is written by Nic Tse, a nice composition only to be ruined by the stupid dialogue in between verses.
Maybe Twins have grown up, but will their fans grow along?
