HKSS Entertainment Chat (HKE Chat) has been launched

After several years in absence, the chat room that brought many HKSS visitors together since 1996 has been re-launched today. (See http://www.hkss.com/comm/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=77 for example)

It once was known as Hong Kong Entertainment Chat (HKEC), a creation of the original HKSS name, Hong Kong Superstars. For that very reason, the chat at HKSS will continue to be honored as its old name, "HKE Chat".

A member ID is required to use this Flash-based chat software. If you already have a member ID at this forum, you can use the same account to log in to chat.

If you are chatting in there by yourself, I have implemented an ALICE-based robot named, "Fender", to be your chat companion. He'll leave when a second human being enters the chat rooms. Be nice to him

"Fender", the chat robot, was removed from the chat program today due to limitations set by the hosting provider -- the robot's brain (it has to read all of its "memories" every single time it loaded) apparently bogged down the servers and my site had to be shut down earlier today until I got the issue fixed.

Sorry guys, but the chat bot was a pretty smart guy and provided some pretty interesting conversations...
