HKSS.com Free Mail service provider is being replaced

Post by Mikey_ »

Dear HKSS.com Free Mail Member,

As was communicated to you in recent e-mail messages and at the Discussion Forum, HKSS.com's Free E-mail provider has been experiencing
difficulties in delivering mail reliably and quickly. Because of this, HKSS saw a need to partner with another provider to assure a higher quality of service to you. HKSS is currently in the process of transitioning its Free Mail service to the new vendor.

HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU

Your OLD mail is NOT lost. You will still be able to access your old mail during the transition period. More on that later.

A very big, unfortunate effect of switching to a new mail provider is that your @hkss.com address will no longer be able to receive mail until you sign up with the exact same username with the new provider again. As such, please keep checking back every day for a new sign-up page on this site so that you can immediately re-apply for your username.

HOW THE CHANGE WILL BENEFIT YOU

It is with great hope that the new provider will provide you with:

- Better, faster, more reliable service
- Increased storage space: 6 MB
- HKSS.com Free Mail still continues to be Free.
- Ability to upgrade to enhanced functionality, including spam protection, POP/ SMTP, and more.
- More benefits are currently being finalized.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR OLD MAIL

As stated previously, your old mail is NOT lost. HKSS was able to arrange with the old e-mail provider an agreement that allows you to login to your old account and forward your mail to your new @hkss.com account. To access your old mail, please log in with your usual username and password at: BMB Mail. Please note that although the BMB Mail page still provides you the option to "sign up" for a new account, this will NOT work. Any old or new accounts signed up at the BMB Mail page will NOT be able to receive mail.

Be sure to forward all your old mail to the new provider as soon as you sign up for an account with the new e-mail vendor to avoid any losses. Your old mail will very likely no longer be available in the near future.

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER OF HKSS.COM

I would like to apologize to you for this inconvenience, but I hope that you understand the necessary transition to ensure a higher quality of standard for the HKSS.com Free Mail service.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to post your comments in the Feedback section of this forum.

Thank you for your understanding. Let's look forward to having a much more reliable mail provider.

Best regards,

Michael Yuen
