Priscilla is the longest, active female singer in the Hong Kong music industry today,
starting her career in 1984 at the age of 18 with the album, "Young Girl's Diary". It
featured two other female newcomers, but she stood out the most with megahit,
"Window of Love", and quickly gained popularity with the younger fans as an "idol"
type singer. Unlike today's idol singers though, people were attracted
to Priscilla's sweet voice, rather than to just the good looks.
In 1989, Priscilla surprised the industry by announcing her departure from full-time singing
to go back to school. In the same year, her album "Colors of Autumn" was the best
selling in Hong Kong, with sales of over 500,000 copies.
Priscilla triumphantly returned in 1995 with smash-hit, "Remembering The Old Days". Though
she has recently been less active, Priscilla's albums continue to sell well, thanks to her
huge fan base.
