Vivian Chow She began her career as a disk jockey in 1987 and eventually signed a contract with Universal to pursue her singing interest. Vivian is regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the Chinese entertainment industry. Many great hit songs in her career made Vivian one of the best female performers in the early 1990's. A testament to the success would be her ten-day concert in 1994 that completely sold out, a rare and surprising feat at a time when the Hong Kong music industry was dominated by males -- and in particular, by the "Four Heavenly Kings". After entertaining for nearly a decade, she announced, to the dismay of fans, her retirement at the early age of thirty.
