CD prices in HK are between $8 - $12 US. Has been that way for years. With regards to the space program. I think it was all hype. China tries to show that it has the ability but one, they didn't land on the moon, two, many countries probably has the technology to send someone into space but it's jus...

Review on music industry 2003
Just going to do some ranting about the music released in 2003. Please go to the entertainment board for a general review of the year it was in showbiz. While most of the year-end music awards are obviously biased, it also showed that overall it was a weak year in terms of music quality, given that ...

The year it was in Chinese showbiz...2003
2003 was definitely one of the most memorable years in Chinese showbiz. 4 Names: Leslie Cheung, CK Lam, Ke Shou Liang (Blackie), Anita Mui....RIP  There was the ICAC "Dance shadow" operation. Unfortunately the only losers were Juno Mak (his dad is probably thanking ICAC or else how ma...

Music: Denise Ho's "Dress me up"
Not exactly a good way to get some recoginition, but most people probably didn't know until the past week that Denise is the only female "student" under Anita Mui, and Denise herself is actually an Anita fan. Seems like Denise has been around for awhile, but this is actually only her 4th a...

It's been a tough year, and this is definitely not the way to end 2003. I had a bad feeling when news reports say that many celebrities were gathering late last nite at the Sanitorium Hospital. I think that Anita's cancer has probably at the final stage when she finally announced it to the public. RIP

I've been more of a basketball fan than hockey fan for the last few years, partly because I collect basketball cards and gave up on hockey cards (actually more like trying to make some money out of them). Yao is a good player but the Rockets are not going anywhere. The Raptors made a good trade, was...

Music: LEO KU's "Video Game"
Remember him? The guy once touted the "5th Heavenly King"? I must say he wasn't bad, but his songs just got too boring and eventually vanished from the music scene. Well he's back and honestly, having him back in the music scene is better than having another out of tune pretty boy pollutin...

Music: MIRIAM YEUNG's "Miriam's Melodies"
It's not everyday where you see a singer and his/her record label parting on happy terms. But this seems to be the case with Miriam. This is probably her last album with Cinepoly as she has already signed with Gold Label. According to news reports, Miriam, Kelly Chen, and Andy Hui (again) will all h...

GT, well I guess I'm not that outdated then! Thornton and Bertuzzi...almost given up by their teams just a few years earlier. I know about Heatley, but just another tough lesson for the young upcoming players....keep your head straight even if you have millions in your bank account. As a guy from To...
