YES MIKEY!!!! Running out of time is probably one of the more intelligent HK movies in the last few years. It's one of my favorites, I actually like it better the Infernal Affairs. The stories are both good, but the direction I thought was much better and the story flows much better in Running out o...

If you enjoy the first one...I advise you to avoid the 2nd one, because it is truly a letdown. I wasn't crazy about the first one, but I thought it was a fine idea and it was funny enough to keep me interested, but the 2nd one is a total nonsense disaster.

"Lost in Time" starring Cecilia Cheung and Lau Ching-Wan might be the best HK drama this past year and Cecilia got best actress award for it. "Running on Karma" starring Andy Lau and Cecilia (again) is another very good movie, it's gotten mixed reviews but Andy got best actor for...

hi jen, well I think all of us are chinese but I am not certain...I am chinese anyway :) "50 first dates" is a fine romantic comedy and the combo of Sandler and Barrymore actually had decent chemistry, so you should enjoy it.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind!

I won't have time to write a full review at this time, but for those of you who like movies that are more...twisty and trippy...and requires more brain juice to understand, you might want to check out "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" which stars Jim Carrey & Kate Winslet. It's s...

Mikey, IA3 should be out on VCD or DVD in US by now. I downloaded it like a month ago (shh! ), and it was the retail version.

IA2 is a prequel to Infernal Affairs as it talks about how Andy and Tony's characters ended up in their positions in IA. IA3 is a sequel to IA1, but it's WAY more confusing than IA2 (which I personally didn't find all that confusing). IA3 is truly confusing....lol

very good point there by Mikey. It's all visual now. And really, hasn't it been this way for many years? even when Priscilla was still in the scene few years back? I don't know what ticked her off to mention it now.

sorry mscara, I didn't notice your question till now. Hope you see this. I like to watch indie films from time to time, but it's rather hard for me to watch them since there's only one theatre here who plays them and the seats there are EXTREMELY uncomfortable...haha.

I am a christian and will probably end up seeing it soon, I really want to see how Mel envisioned this. It's stirred up so much controversy, but really, like Mel said...this is only HIS vision of the event, so people...relax...even if you don't agree with it.

I actually quite agree with the Top-10 songs awards. Seven of which I had penciled in as my 10 favorite songs of the year. A little surprise Candy didn't get anything, was she not there?

RIP all of you...

Man...this was quite surprising. She's only 40. Another death of celebrity in 2003. In about a year's time there's been 4 deaths...Roman Tam, Leslie Cheung, Blacky Orr, and now Anita Mui. Anita was probably one of the brightest HK female star ever seen if not the brightest. She was simply the Madonn...
