Happy belated Thanksgiving to you
I went to Yosemite for a 4-day camping trip -- ate hot dogs, turkey & ham lunch meat, instant noodles, clementines, and beef jerky. It was pretty good and boy... instant noodles was never as welcome as that trip before: it was FREEZING in the morning and evenings!
Shot over 1,200 pictures -- narrowed it down to about 300 that I'm keeping. Will share in the Hobbies section sometime

Why do you dislike wedding photography now?
Every angle in NYC may have been shot, but you may be able to find new gems by taking close-up shots of things people normally don't think about. MB is pretty good with that -- she enjoys doing Macro shots whereas I enjoy more wider shots.
There is a possibility for me to return to the East coast next year Perhaps we could meet then I'm thinking of the New England area, including Niagara and/or Canada.

nice, it'll be great to see you finally =)
i am just tired of weddings because i shoot about 2 weddings a week. same shot over and over and over....
oh i've been getting into macro shots as well, just got myself a cheap macro ring flash the other day.
here are two examples: i think macro is great
wide is so fun as well, but i need to practice on composition, i am horrible at "regular" range...

Eddy, both of your pictures are "broken" -- can you fix their links?
You could try to make wedding photography exciting by taking candid shots (with a nice zoom lens.) Most people photograph poses, but personally for myself, I prefer having pictures of my wedding's genuine moments, rather than artificially posing for each shot.
"Capture the moment", especially the kids.
